This contract is made between Rebelle With A Gloss and the Bride for professional makeup and/ or hair services for her wedding day. Rebelle With A Gloss/ RWAG includes Jennifer Reardon and/ or any makeup artists or hair stylists who work for/ through Rebelle With A Gloss. Bride/ Clients refers to the bride(s) as well as her/ their bridal party or any bridal attendants/ friends/ relatives who are also getting professional makeup and hair services. Rebelle With A Gloss will hereon be referred to as ”Rebelle With a Gloss” or “RWAG”, and the bride/ clients will be referred to as “Bride” or “Clients”. Booking Requirements A 25% non-refundable and non-transferable booking fee, signature of contract, and completion of requested forms must be all completed by the Bride in order to reserve her wedding date. The deposit is credited towards total balance. Fees (early start time fee, extra artist fees, travel fee, etc.) are not included in the deposit and are due when the total balance is due. These fees will be included in the total balance due, but will not be collected until the wedding day. Rebelle With A Gloss is not officially booked and cannot reserve your wedding date until all items referenced are completed. If all items above are not received or completed within a 48 hour period of being sent over to the Bride, then RWAG has the right to terminate the contract. Minimums Required to Book There is a 4 person minimum required for wedding bookings where the bride is also getting professional services by RWAG. If you are only booking professional makeup services, you will need 4 adults (bride included) to book for makeup. If you are only booking professional hair services, you will need 4 adults (bride included) to book for hair. If you are booking both professional makeup and hair services then you will need 4 adults to book for makeup AND 4 adults to book for hair. If the bride is not getting professional services by RWAG and it is bridal attendants only then there is a 5 person minimum. Payment By signing this contract the bride assumes full responsibility for the total payment. If anyone is not prepared with payment the day of the wedding or do not show up for their appointment then the bride is still responsible for that amount. In the event that Jennifer Reardon will not be at your wedding because another RWAG stylist is the lead makeup artist or hair stylist, then the final balance must be paid IN FULL to Jennifer Reardon by Venmo or Google Wallet two weeks to a month before your wedding. Balance will not be paid to anyone other than Jennifer Reardon. If the balance is not paid 2 weeks before the wedding, then RWAG will not be able to perform makeup and/ or hair duties for the wedding and the total balance as well as cancellation fees will be due from the Bride. When Jennifer Reardon will be present at the wedding, then cash is the only payment method accepted the morning of the wedding. Credit cards, Venmo, and other forms of digital currency are not accepted the morning of the wedding (except for gratuities). Checks are not accepted under any circumstances. If Client would like to pay by debit card through Google Wallet or Venmo they must submit an email request to Jennifer Reardon one month prior to the wedding. It is up to Jennifer Reardon’s discretion whether or not to accept this payment method. If accepted, balance must be paid in full 2 weeks before the wedding at the absolute latest. RWAG will collect the entire payment before beginning makeup & hair services. RWAG will not start anyone’s makeup or hair until the final balance is paid. Please have the total ready and prepared in an envelope. Total balance will be handed directly to Jennifer Reardon, only. RWAG will only accept the total payment from the Bride and will not individually collect the payment from any bridal attendants. If the Bride is not getting their makeup and/ or hair done by RWAG but their bridal attendants are, the Bride must arrive at the set up time to pay RWAG before we start services. Services will not start until the final balance is paid. Gratuity Gratuity is not mandatory but as with anyone in the service industry, it is always suggested and greatly appreciated for a job well done. Any gratuities can be paid directly to each makeup artist and/ or hairstylist by cash or Venmo. Suggested tip is a minimum of 20% of original service price. Time and Location Requirements Rebelle With a Gloss shall perform the Services on the date and time agreed with reasonable care and skill. The Bride agrees that if Rebelle With a Gloss is unable to perform agreed services for any unforeseeable reason or unavoidable situation (ex: emergencies, illness, pregnancy, etc.) Rebelle With a Gloss agrees to arrange for an equally qualified makeup artist and/ or hair stylist to complete the agreed upon services. RWAG will give the new artist the notes and photos from your trial, if applicable, so they can replicate the look achieved from your previous trial. If the Bride would like a trial with her newly assigned makeup artist or hairstylist then she must pay for it. In the event of an emergency where another makeup artist or hairstylist cannot be arranged by Rebelle With a Gloss, then RWAG will give the Bride a full refund. If the Bride chooses to cancel because their original artist is no longer available, then the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, and the Bride will be subject to cancelation fees as described in this contract. Rebelle With A Gloss agrees to do everything on their end to ensure that the Bride and her bridal party will begin at the start time and be finished by the end time. RWAG will arrive at minimum 10 minutes early to set up so that we begin AT the start time. Once a location and a set up/ start time is established, then the Bride and ALL Clients must meet together at the agreed upon location at the start time. Although a schedule will be arranged for the wedding day, times are subject to deviate a little and RWAG may need people earlier or later than their designated time frame. If the bride and/or bridal party members are late and, as a result, we go past the end time (provided RWAG can stay) then a $100 per hour fee for EACH artist will incur and must be paid as soon as RWAG goes past the end time. Many times RWAG has another appointment or personal obligation before or after your wedding so RWAG might not be able to stay late. If the Bride does not show up for her appointment after 1.5 hours past the start time, RWAG will leave and the Bride must still pay 100% of the balance plus a no show fee, which is 10% of the original balance. Furthermore, please remember RWAG will not start anyone’s makeup or hair until balance is paid in full by the bride. So if the Bride does not show up with the payment, the bridal party members will not be able to get their makeup or hair done. Insurance The Bride understands and accepts that RWAG does not have insurance at this time. If getting your makeup and/ or hair done at your venue, it is the Bride’s responsibility to make sure the venue does not require insurance from the makeup and hair team. If the venue requires it, RWAG is not responsible or liable and will not offer any refunds to the Bride. Getting Ready Photos Upon completion of services, Rebelle With A Gloss is happy to stage “getting ready photos” with the Bride and the Bride’s photographer provided there is time. Any staged photos that the Bride would like to take with RWAG must be requested prior to the wedding day so it can be worked into the timeline. If you are looking to take these, please tell RWAG upon booking to leave extra time in the schedule for it. RWAG will allot 5-15 minutes maximum for staged getting ready photos with the photographer. RWAG cannot wait for the photographers to arrive to take these, it must be arranged beforehand where it is properly coordinated with the makeup and/ or hair timeline. Fees Rebelle With A Gloss will provide the Bride with a price menu outlining some or all of the potential fees that will take place for the Bride’s wedding day. The Bride agrees to pay any fees that include, but are not limited to: travel fees, extra artist fees, extension fees, early morning fees, second location fees, touch up fees, and any other potential fees outlined in the current price menu or described below. The Bride agrees that she has read RWAG’s price menu and is familiar with the fees that she may be charged for. If she is unfamiliar with any of the potential fees, it is her responsibility to ask RWAG for an explanation of fees before booking. RWAG agrees to never surprise the Bride with any fees on the day of their wedding, as any fees will always be added to the invoice prior to the wedding day. The only exception is if RWAG is unexpectedly required to pay for parking, valet, or any unforeseen fees on the day of the wedding. In that case, the bride must pay all RWAG members the said charges through cash or Venmo. Travel Fees The Bride agrees to pay each member of RWAG the travel fee in accordance with the price menu. The Bride agrees to pay RWAG travel costs such as parking, valet, tolls, airfare, and hotel, if applicable. The first 30 miles roundtrip are complimentary within Long Island. Beyond 30 miles are subject to a charge, at RWAG’s discretion. Fees for locations outside of Long Island are subject to additional charges at RWAG’s discretion. If the Bride is getting ready at a hotel outside of Long Island then they are required to pay for all members of RWAG to valet or park their cars at the hotel. RWAG will not park in a parking garage offsite and walk to the hotel, as we travel with heavy equipment. Second Location Fees All makeup and/ or hair services must take place in the same location. If it is requested for RWAG to do someone’s makeup/ hair in another room or location after setting up then you will be required to pay a “second location fee”. If requesting this service, you must get permission from RWAG at least one month prior to your wedding. If RWAG is able to accommodate a second location then there will be an additional fee for this service, at RWAG’s discretion. However, RWAG can not guarantee accommodation of a second location for all weddings. Partial Services Bride and Clients understand that adults cannot receive partial makeup or hair services. If someone does not want full hair and makeup services then they will still have to pay full price, regardless. Also, price is not determined by hair length or amount of makeup used, it is determined on a “per person” basis. “Little Rebelles'' may receive partial services if desired. Client agrees that the Little Rebelle service is for young ladies 7-12 years of age only. Little Rebelles Partial Services include EYES ONLY: eyeshadow, eyeliner, and/ or mascara plus lip gloss. Fake lashes are not included. Little Rebelles Full Services include EYES PLUS FACE: eyes plus any foundation, blush, highlighter and/or bronzer. Fake lashes are included. Flower girls are entitled to free makeup services consisting solely of blush, lipgloss, and one light coat of eyeshadow. The maximum amount of flower girls allowed to have this free service is 4 girls total. This free service is for girls aged 6 and under, only. The Bride agrees to follow all age requirements and be honest about Little Rebelles’ ages. False Lash Application RWAG agrees to provide complimentary false lashes and false lash applications to all adult Clients for no extra charge. If Bride/ Clients choose to opt out of the lash application, they will not be credited for it, as it is included in the service. Touch Up Policy & Fees If extra time remains before the end time, RWAG is happy to offer light touch ups to Bride and Clients. If time does not allow for it, then RWAG will not offer touch ups, as they are not required to do so. Touch up fees beyond the official end time are at an additional cost and must be pre arranged with Jennifer Reardon at least one month prior to your wedding. Not all weddings can be accommodated due to prior engagements before or after your wedding. RWAG sells an exclusive line of lipstick that will be available to the Bride/ Clients for an additional cost, subject to availability. Any other desired purchase of reapplication of makeup is the Client’s responsibility to purchase ahead of time, as RWAG cannot sell any of their personal makeup. The Bride agrees to pay “touch up fees” in accordance with the price menu, at RWAG’s discretion. Early Start Time Fees The Bride agrees to pay “early start time fees” in accordance with the price menu.The early morning fees are as follows: $50 per makeup artist/ hairstylist for a 6:00-6:55am start time, $75 per makeup artist/ hairstylist for a 5-5:55am start time, or $100 per makeup artist/ hairstylist for start times earlier than 5am. Early morning fees are up to RWAG’s discretion and may be increased based on distance or in accordance with the current price menu. Extra Makeup Artists/ Hairstylists & Subsequent Fees The Bride agrees to pay “extra artist fees'' in accordance with the price menu. Extra makeup artists/ hairstylists might be required based on, but not limited to: limited time parameters set forth by the bride, a large bridal party, early start times, or when prefered by the Bride. RWAG will get the Bride’s permission first before hiring any additional artists. Extra artists/ hair stylists are required for bridal parties 8 people and over, or up to RWAG’s discretion. All RWAG team members require a 45 minute to one hour break when working 5 hours or more. The length of break and amount of hours will be worked into the timeline and discussed before the day of the wedding. Hair Extensions If the Bride/ Clients would like hair extension application then they must purchase and provide their own hair extensions. RWAG does not sell or have hair extensions for Client’s use. There is a fee for hair extension application as indicated on RWAG’s price list for each person who requests it. You must give RWAG one month’s notice on who will be getting extension application. We are not able to make changes to the invoice the day of the appointment, so anyone who asks to add extension application the day of the wedding cannot be accommodated. As such, if anyone who originally committed to extension application cancels extension application the day of the wedding will still be charged for it. Body Makeup The cost of makeup services on the price menu is for makeup for the face only. Any requested body makeup application to the rest of your body (chest, arms, legs, etc.) will be at RWAG’s discretion and is subject to additional charges. If the Bride or any Clients request body makeup, RWAG is not liable for any stains or damage that the makeup does to any clothing or dresses. Postponement Policy In the event that Client’s wedding is postponed due to unforeseen events, RWAG agrees to do everything in their power to accommodate Client for their new wedding date. If Client’s original RWAG makeup artist or hairstylist is not available for the new wedding date, RWAG agrees to substitute another makeup artist or hairstylist from their team in the original’s place. If no one from the team is available or RWAG cannot accommodate the Client for their new date then the final balance will not be due in full, but the deposit will not be returned as it is non-refundable. If the Bride’s wedding is postponed for a new date within 1 year of the original wedding date then the rates for the Bride and Clients will remain the same. If the Bride’s wedding is postponed for a new date of more than 1 year of the original wedding date then rates for the bride and bridal party may be increased (up to RWAG’s discretion) based on RWAG’s current price menu for that calendar year. If the Bride’s wedding is postponed due to COVID-19 and is postponed for a new date within 1.5 years (or 550 days) of the original wedding date then rates will remain the same. Rebelle With A Gloss will not charge the Bride any additional “postponement fees”. Cancellation Policy The deposit required to book your wedding with Rebelle With A Gloss is always non-refundable and non-transferable. If the Bride cancels makeup and/ or hair services then the deposit is still non-refundable. If the Bride cancels makeup and/ or hair services and RWAG is notified over 90 days prior to the original wedding date, then final balance will not be required, but the deposit is still non-refundable. If the Bride cancels makeup and/ or hair services and RWAG is notified within 90 days of the original wedding date then only 25% of the final balance will still be due. If the Bride cancels makeup and/ or hair services and and RWAG is notified within 60 days of the original wedding date then only 50% of the final balance will still be due. If the Bride cancels makeup and/ or hair services and and RWAG is notified within 30 days of the original wedding date then 100% of the final balance will still be due. Use of Images & Videos RWAG will request to use your professional photos by written request through email or Instagram. If Client permits RWAG to use their professional photos, RWAG may use them for advertisement purposes (Instagram posts, marketing emails, website, etc.) Any photos or videos taken by Rebelle With A Gloss are owned and can be used for advertisement purposes by Rebelle With A Gloss. RWAG respectfully agrees to not post any photos of Client in her wedding gown until after the ceremony is over. Personal Preparation Requirements A certain amount of time is allotted for makeup and hair services for each bridal attendant. In order to stay within these time parameters and stay on schedule, it is each person’s responsibility to have their faces and hair prepped properly. RWAG will send you an email with instructions on how everyone needs to prep their faces and hair. Rebelle With A Gloss is not responsible for going beyond the end time when the Bride and Clients do not follow RWAG’s protocol and preparation instructions described throughout the contract. To ensure timely completion of services, it is important for the Bride and Clients to be prepared by knowing what look or style they want. It is encouraged to have sample photos on your phones to show the makeup artists and/ or hairstylists. Additionally, if the Bride has a preference for her bridal party’s makeup and hair please let us know. It is important for the Clients to properly convey the look they want to the artist/ stylist before they start and as the look is progressing. Makeup and/or hair will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted makeup and/or hair time. Ample time is given for each makeup and/or hair upon booking. RWAG cannot and will not do more than one completed look the day of the wedding. Preparation for Makeup You will get the best results from your makeup with a clean face for us to work on. Please have washed, clean faces ready for RWAG with no makeup on. Moisturizer without SPF is ideal to avoid camera flashback in your professional photos. Preparation for Hair Everyone must be prepared with their hair already blow dried straight and ready to style (unless Client wants their natural curls incorporated into the style). RWAG does NOT blow dry wet hair as it is very time consuming and makes hair more difficult to style. Hair that is one day unwashed is ideal as it improves hair flexibility and styling. Non-flat ironed, blow dried, smooth, dry hair with no products (especially no oils) is easiest to work with. However, if your hair tends to be on the oily side then it is recommended that you wash your hair and blow dry it in the morning before your appointment, as hair must be DRY to style. Rebelle Squad & Non-Compete Policy The Bride and Clients agree that they will not hire any RWAG team members without booking through Rebelle With A Gloss. There is no exchanging of personal information between the Bride/ Clients/ Bridal Attendants and any RWAG staff aside from Jennifer Reardon. This includes social media information, the exchange of phone numbers, emails, or any contact information. If you would like to use one of RWAG’s makeup artists or hairstylists, you must contact Jennifer Reardon and book through RWAG. If terms are violated, you must pay Jennifer Reardon a referral fee of 25% of the cost of services with the makeup artist and/ or hairstylist. Health and Safety All brushes, tools and makeup products are washed, kept sanitary, and are sanitized before every wedding. RWAG uses additional safety measures, such as using disposable mascara wands and lip wands to avoid germs and cross contamination between clients. The Bride/ Clients agree to immediately inform Rebelle With a Gloss regarding any sensitivities or allergies they or their bridal party may have to any types of makeup products, hair products, or treatments. As such, the Bride/ Clients agree to release Rebelle With A Gloss from liability for any complications due to unknown allergic reactions. No one aside from Rebelle With A Gloss may touch or use Rebelle With A Gloss’ makeup and/ or hair kit. If any products or items are damaged or missing, the Bride is held liable and they must immediately pay for the item to be replaced. Furthermore, it is very important to keep Rebelle With A Gloss’ kit sanitary and free of allergens, so if there is a pet at the getting ready location and the animal touches any of Rebelle With A Gloss’ products then Client must replace the product(s) or pay for the item to be replaced. The Bride/ Clients agree to comply with any federal or state health mandates. The Bride/ Clients agree to immediately inform Rebelle With a Gloss regarding any contagious sickness or disease they may be experiencing. RWAG will not be able to work on any Clients with COVID-19 symptoms. Anyone with these symptoms may be replaced by another Client at the location at no extra substitution charge. Rebelle With A Gloss must follow federal and/ or state health mandates. If the Bride or any Clients are violating said mandates and RWAG feels their safety is at risk, then RWAG will leave the location without any liability. In that event, the Bride must still pay 100% of the final balance to RWAG. If social distancing is mandated at the time of the wedding, RWAG is not legally allowed to work or do anyone’s hair or makeup. Due to the nature of RWAG’s work responsibilities: being face to face with people and touching their eyes, mouths, hair, and faces, there is no way we can perform these actions while practicing social distancing. If the Bride is still getting married on the wedding date where social distancing is enforced, then she understands that legally makeup and hair is not allowed to be done, and RWAG is not liable or responsible for not being able to carry out makeup and/ or hair performances. Furthermore, RWAG is not financially liable for these for state and/ or federal mandated requirements. As such, if the wedding is postponed then RWAG will transfer the balance over to the new scheduled date. Please see “Postponement Policy” for a detailed overview. Hostile Work Environment If any RWAG team member feels they are in a hostile work environment caused by the Bride or Clients then RWAG will leave and be free of any liability from doing so. In this event, the deposit will not be returned. If a hostile work environment takes place the day of the wedding, 100% of the final balance is still due in full. If a hostile work environment takes place after RWAG is retained, by method of in person, email, or text harassment then RWAG is permitted to terminate makeup and/ or hair services for the Bride’s wedding and the deposit will not be returned. Force Majeure Rebelle With A Gloss will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation under this Agreement that is due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, social distancing, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy. In said cases, Rebelle With A Gloss will not be able to perform their duties and will not be held responsible or liable for not being able to carry out their duties. Policy on Changes and/ or Substitutions No changes are permitted the day of the wedding. This includes, but is not limited to, changes to the invoice, start/ end time, location, amount of women getting professional makeup and/ or hair services, type of makeup application (airbrush/ traditional), touch ups, and hair extension application. You may, however, request these changes in advance, and RWAG will do their best to accommodate you. Price Changes Prices are subject to change at any time. However, RWAG agrees to honor the price menu invoiced out to the Bride at time of signature of contract. Adding on Bridal Attendants at a Later Time If the Bride is looking to add on additional bridal party members after the contract is signed, the Bride agrees to give RWAG ample notice (3 months or more). Proper notice is to ensure that RWAG can get additional makeup artists and hair stylists to help with a large volume of Clients. RWAG will not be able to accommodate add-ons if RWAG’s makeup artists and hairstylists are already booked or unavailable. Once new Clients are added on, the Bride must pay a 25% non-refundable deposit for each person added on. Bridal Party Substitutions If someone from your bridal party no longer wants makeup and/ or hair services, the Bride is still required to pay for them. However, RWAG agrees that the Bride can substitute another person in their place for no extra charge or penalty. RWAG does not require that this person is in your bridal party, but they must be getting ready on location with the Bride/ Clients/ bridal party. The Bride agrees to let RWAG know ahead of time about any potential changes two weeks to one month before the wedding. As previously stated, no changes are allowed to take place the day of the wedding. Timeline Change It is the Bride’s responsibility to provide RWAG with an accurate time that she and her bridal party need to be completely done with makeup and hair by. Requests to change the start or end time might not be able to be accommodated, as RWAG might have other appointments or personal obligations before or after your wedding.
